Information and service contracts.
This website describes preparation and support services. It does not itself establish an engagement or provide client-specific tax, legal, investment or audit advice. Services begin under a signed engagement that states the work, fee, deadlines, responsibilities and acceptance criteria.
Professional responsibility
No signing or filing authority.
La Comptabilité prepares and reviews the agreed records behind the accounting practice. Client advice, tax positions, signing, filing, payment instructions and any independent audit opinion remain with the appropriately authorised professional or client. Any different authority must be expressly documented and legally permitted.
Data and confidentiality
GDPR-aligned practices and written processing terms.
The engagement sets confidentiality, authorised processing, access and retention. GDPR-aligned practices are addressed through applicable contractual and legal requirements; this wording is not a blanket certification of compliance. Return information is processed in India under the CPA firm's taxpayer consents (IRC §7216). No third-party tool receives client data outside the engagement's written data-processing instructions.
Liability
The signed agreement sets any monetary cap.
Any monetary cap or exclusion for professional services applies only if expressly agreed in the signed engagement and permitted by law. These website terms do not invent or vary a cap in an existing client contract. Liability that cannot lawfully be limited remains unaffected.
