OUR STORY
La Comptabilité began with a practical purpose: to give accounting firms dependable bookkeeping and accounting support, with a team that understands how their practice works.
That purpose still shapes the company. We start by understanding the firm’s records, working methods and review expectations. The work is organised around those requirements, while the firm keeps its client relationships and final decisions.
Our scope has grown from bookkeeping and accounting support to tax preparation and audit support. Today, our country pages cover seven regions: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and GCC. Each sets out the work available and the responsibilities that remain with the local practitioner.
Our co-founders and accounting professionals are the people behind that work. Together, they bring 20 years of experience to the practice. La Comptabilité is trusted by 100+ accounting professionals.

QUALITY CONTROL
Two accountants work on every file - one prepares it, a senior reviews it - and the handoff pack shows exactly what was checked. Your data stays in your systems.
Accountant 1
An accountant posts the work with source references, reconciliations and working papers for every balance.
Accountant 2
A second, senior accountant reviews the file against our QC checklist and clears or lists every open item.
To your firm
You receive review notes, proposed entries and a handoff checklist. Your firm approves tax positions, client advice and the final filing.
Work is reviewed inside your software under your access controls. We do not sign, file or contact your clients.

Siddhartha is Co-Founder of La Comptabilité His background in international accounting and tax informs the company’s work with accounting practices.
He brings the practitioner’s perspective to company leadership: understanding how a firm works, what its reviewers need and where an offshore team fits within that practice.

Operations & Delivery
Foram is Co-Founder of La Comptabilité, with responsibility for operations and delivery.
Her role connects the company’s day-to-day operations with the work its accounting team delivers. Alongside Siddhartha and the team, she supports the practical organisation behind each engagement.
