La Comptabilité supports Australian accounting firms and registered tax practitioners with preparation, reconciliations and review packs.
AUSTRALIA
Local advice and filing remain with the authorised professional.

QUALITY CONTROL
Two accountants work on every file - one prepares it, a senior reviews it - and the handoff pack shows exactly what was checked. Your data stays in your systems.
Accountant 1
An accountant posts the work with source references, reconciliations and working papers for every balance.
Accountant 2
A second, senior accountant reviews the file against our QC checklist and clears or lists every open item.
To your firm
You receive review notes, proposed entries and a handoff checklist. Your firm approves tax positions, client advice and the final filing.
Work is reviewed inside your software under your access controls. We do not sign, file or contact your clients.
HOW WE WORK
30 minutes
Output: fit check and the entities in scope.
48 hours
Output: signed scope, SLA and fixed pilot fee.
3 days
Output: approved access in your software and the local processing permissions. IRC 7216 consents apply where US return information is involved.
10 business days
Output: one entity’s review pack - reconciliations, proposed entries, review notes, handoff checklist.
Week 3 onward
Output: dedicated seat or per-return; weekly call and escalation matrix.
Every file is reviewed twice before it reaches you. Your firm approves tax positions, client advice and the final filing.
The timeline assumes complete records and authorised access. The signed scope sets the actual dates and any dependencies.

La Comptabilité is not a TPB-registered tax practitioner; your registered tax practitioner lodges (TASA 2009). Your registered tax practitioner supervises the relevant tax work and handles lodgment under the agreed engagement and the TASA 2009. BAS/IAS scope is preparation, not lodgment. An approved SMSF auditor independently audits the fund; that role does not itself confer tax-practitioner lodgment authority.
Australia-specific support
Support can include fund records, reconciliations, member-account workpapers and the accounting file for the responsible practice. An approved SMSF auditor performs the independent audit before the annual return is lodged. The registered tax practitioner’s lodgment role is separate from the audit.

Year-end planning
The standard July-September quarterly BAS due date is 28 October. Eligible online or practitioner arrangements may differ; confirm the actual lodgment program.
