QUALITY CONTROL
Every file is reviewed twice before it reaches you.
Two accountants work on every file - one prepares it, a senior reviews it - and the handoff pack shows exactly what was checked. Your data stays in your systems.
- 1
Preparation
Accountant 1
An accountant posts the work with source references, reconciliations and working papers for every balance.
- 2
Senior review
Accountant 2
A second, senior accountant reviews the file against our QC checklist and clears or lists every open item.

Cleanup & catch-up
Bring incomplete periods into a documented starting position. Review opening balances, source records and proposed corrections. Keep missing statements and unsupported items in an open-question log.
- The ledger and trial balance
- The periods that need work
- Bank records and other available evidence
- Known differences or earlier adjustments
Investigate the balances included in the cleanup, prepare explanations for proposed adjustments, and list records or decisions still needed. Keep the reason for an adjustment alongside the supporting information. Your reviewer should be able to see what changed, why it changed and what remains unresolved.
SERVICE SCOPE
Monthly bookkeeping
Process the agreed sales, purchases, receipts and payments. Keep accounts payable and accounts receivable schedules tied to the ledger, with cutoffs and exception ownership agreed.
SERVICE SCOPE
Reconciliations & month-end
Reconcile bank and card activity, review clearing balances and prepare the month-end file. Trace changes back to source documents and distinguish approved postings from proposed entries.

Turnaround
How the 10-day bookkeeping pilot works
The pilot delivery target is 10 business days after the scope is signed, agreed records are complete and access is authorised. The engagement records the actual due date, responsible reviewer and dependencies. Missing information and changes in scope are recorded before a revised date is agreed.

Working questions
FAQ
Does the service include cleanup?
Yes. Agree the historical periods, record quality and opening-balance source separately from recurring monthly work.
Who is this service for?
For owner-led CPA, EA and chartered accountancy practices, including firms with 5-50 people assigning recurring books or a cleanup file.
How is turnaround agreed?
The SOW records the due date after the records, volume and access have been checked. The ten-day pilot target applies to the signed pilot scope.
What happens to missing records?
The file carries an open-item log with an owner and a decision needed. Unsupported entries are not treated as approved.
Can we begin with one entity?
Yes. Start with a defined pilot scope and decide the ongoing arrangement after reviewing the agreed output.
